This policy explains what personal data ReferBeam (legal entity name TBD) ("ReferBeam", "we") collects when you use our website and product, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Data we collect
- Account data. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture.
- Session data. To keep you signed in we store a session record with your IP address and browser user agent.
- Program data you add. Partners, links, commission rules, campaigns and payout settings you create in ReferBeam.
- Referral data. When your customers click partner links, ReferBeam's tracking script records the click, referrer, landing page, UTM parameters and device type for attribution. You act as the controller of this data; we process it on your behalf.
- Billing events. Payment events from billing providers you connect, used to calculate commissions.
How we use it
- To provide the service: attribution, commissions, fraud checks, payouts and reports.
- To secure accounts and prevent abuse.
- To contact you about your account and important changes.
We don't sell personal data, and we don't use your program data to advertise to you.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run ReferBeam, including Google (sign-in), Supabase (database hosting) and, when you enable payouts, payment providers such as PayPal and Wise. They process data only to provide their services to us.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. The tracking script you install sets a first-party cookie on your site so referrals can be attributed.
Retention
We keep account and program data while your account is active, and delete or anonymise it after you close your account, unless we must keep it for legal or accounting reasons.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it. Email privacy@referbeam.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
